MEWPs For Managers

AJ Rentals are able to offer training through AFI-Uplift, one of the UK's leading IPAF and PASMA training providers.

AFI is proud to be registered as an approved IPAF training centre. As the most established access platform training provider, recognised MCG (Major Contractors Group), IPAF courses provide the ideal path to gaining qualifications.

This 1 day course is designed to instruct supervisors and managers on how to prepare for and safely co-ordinate various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) within their control.

Upon successful completion, delegates will receive an IPAF certificate. Please note, this course does not provide delegates with a PAL (Powered Access Licence) card nor does it qualify them to operate powered access equipment.

  • Applicants should be at least 16 years old.
  • It is desirable (but not mandatory) that applicants should be literate as the course is theory-based and involves the understanding of many Regulations and Standards relating to MEWPs.
N.B. If you have any concerns about whether you are eligible to undertake this course, please contact us.
